2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E Adds Range, Charges Faster, Costs More
After heavily discounting the 2023 model in hopes of clearing units from dealer lots, Ford today announced changes and pricing details for its 2024 Mustang Mach-E.
First, let’s start with range. Thanks to a lighter new rear motor, Ford’s electric crossover is now able to travel longer distances than before. With the 72kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, you’re looking at 402 km (+5) in RWD configuration and 370 km (+10) with AWD. When it comes to the extended-range 98.8kWh battery, the numbers increase to 515 km (+15) and 483 km (+16), respectively.

The high-performance Mustang Mach-E GT offers a range of 451 km (+33), while the new-for-2024 Mustang Mach-E Rally can get to 426 km.
Drivers can also expect faster charging when the vehicle is plugged into a DC fast charger. According to Ford, going from 10-80 percent can be done in 32.3 minutes with the standard-range battery (previously 38 minutes) or 36.2 minutes with the extended-range pack (previously 45 minutes).
Remember, Ford EV owners now have the ability to use more than 15,000 Tesla Superchargers in North America with the help of an adapter. It’s free if you register to Ford’s BlueOval network and order said adapter through Ford Canada’s website before July 1.
What else is new for 2024? Well, as previously reported, there’s the Mustang Mach-E Rally for those who like to drive off-road from time to time, plus a Bronze Appearance Package that adds extra style to the Mustang Mach-E GT.
The 15.5-inch touchscreen has been revamped with an updated user experience, so it will be easier to access your favourite apps and key information. New button icons echo the design language found throughout the vehicle, while the Settings screen has been updated to display all the info on a single page.
What about pricing? Following the discounts applied to the 2023 models earlier this year, we’re not that surprised to see some hikes for 2024. Below is the complete breakdown:
