Ford F-150 Lightning: Discounts on 2023 Models, Pricing Announced for 2024
Ford this week started shipping the refreshed 2024 F-150 to dealers including the fully electric F-150 Lightning, but those dealers still have plenty of 2023 models in stock, so the company has come up with generous discounts to help clear them off the lots.
In Canada, the base Pro model stays at $61,395 (including freight, PDI and other fees) with the standard-range 98kWh battery and $77,395 with the extended-range 131kWh battery. However, the XLT model now costs $63,395 or $79,395, depending on the battery, thanks to a delivery allowance of $8,000.

An identical allowance is applied to the Lariat model, resulting in a new price of $74,395 or $93,995 based on battery selection. Ditto for the top-line Platinum, which now costs $111,274 (including the luxury tax).
Only the F-150 Lightning Pro and XLT equipped with the 98kWh battery are eligible to the $5,000 EV incentive from the Canadian government, by the way.
Earlier this year, Ford used a similar strategy with the 2023 Mustang Mach-E electric crossover, although in that case the price cuts came in the form of lower MSRPs.
What’s New for 2024?
Now, if we look at the 2024 F-150 Lightning, some lineup and pricing adjustments are in store. The MSRPs for Pro and XLT models equipped with the standard-range battery are up $995 to $59,995 and $69,995, respectively. Once again, these are the only models that qualify for the $5,000 federal EV incentive.
Pro models featuring the extended-range battery are now reserved for fleets. Their MSRP is set at $77,995.
As for other extended-range models, the new-for-2024 F-150 Lightning Flash starts at $86,995 plus freight, PDI and other fees. It’s a direct response to customers wanting a better-equipped and more technologically advanced XLT model—or a more affordable Lightning featuring the most desirable amenities and tech. Look for Ford BlueCruise 1.2 hands-free highway assist with automated lane changes, a standard 15.5-inch touchscreen, eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, wireless smartphone charger, power tailgate, Tow Technology Package and a heat pump optimizing the truck’s energy consumption and range.
Next up are the Lariat and Platinum, again with the 131kWh battery, which carry an MSRP of $99,595 and $112,495, respectively.
There’s also a new F-150 Lightning Platinum Black, a top-of-the-line special edition featuring a unique matte black exterior—the Blue Oval’s first-ever matte-wrapped production truck. This one also stands out with 22-inch matte black wheels, black premium Nirvana leather seating surfaces and serialized aluminum plates. Ford plans to build only 2,000 units for Canada and the U.S. combined. Canadian pricing is set at $122,495.
