In the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL, a new turbocharged, 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine will develop 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. While the 3.6-litre V6 will be available with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic, only the latter can be matched to the 2.0-litre engine. A turbo-diesel, 3.0-litre V6 will be added in 2019.
