SUVs are extremely popular across North America right now—they combine with pickups to represent three quarters of the light-duty vehicle market—but not all are created equal. For various reasons, some models fail to attract a decent number of customers.

Note: To be fair, we excluded models that hit the market or were eliminated at some point during the year, as well as those with a fully electric powertrain or coming from a prestige brand (Bentley, Lamborghini, Maserati, Rolls-Royce) since they target just a tiny fraction of the market.
