2024 Honda Prologue/2024 Acura ZDX
Honda’s first all-electric vehicle in North America, the 2024 Prologue, was developed as part of a partnership with General Motors, so it rides on the Ultium platform and battery. The dual motors combine to generate an estimated 288 horsepower and 333 lb-ft. of torque, while the 85kWh lithium-ion battery is said to deliver a range of more than 450 km, which is right on par with the best AWD-equipped competitors.
Pre-orders have already begun, with the first deliveries slated for spring 2024. The Prologue will be available in select provinces including British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec with a base MSRP in the mid-$60,000s, making it ineligible to the $5,000 EV rebate from the Canadian government. Don’t forget about the equally new ZDX from luxury brand Acura.
