Acura's popular midsize SUV, the MDX, now offers hybrid technology. This version, known as the Sport Hybrid, gets a 3.0-litre V6 and three electric motors. All told, they produce a combined 325 horsepower. One of these electric motors activates the front wheels and the other two take care of the rear wheels, as with the RLX. However, most versions of the MDX are equipped with the 290-horsepower, 3.5-litre V6. Depending on the version, the MDX can seat six or seven people.
