The base engine is a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 producing 290 horsepower, while the high-performance MDX Type S Ultra boasts a turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 generating 355 horsepower. Maximum cargo space is a respectable 2,690 litres, and towing capacity is rated at 5,000 lbs. Build quality and reliability continue to be some of the best attributes of the MDX.
