The A4 returns unchanged while spy photographers are busy catching glimpses of the 2016 version. Most A4s are propelled by the ubiquitous direct-injection 2.0L turbo four, good for 220 horsepower. Three transmissions are offered: CVT (FWD only), six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic. The high performance S4 offers up 333 horsepower and 325 lbs.-ft. of torque, all delivered by a supercharged 3.0L V6. The raised allroad wagon is only available with the 2.0L, the eight-speed auto box and the quattro hardware.
