As we write this, prototypes of the 2016 Q7 are driving around in camouflage. 2015 is thus an interim model year for the Q7, bringing no major changes. The (premium) gas versions, 3.0 and 3.0 Sport, use a supercharged 3.0L V6 that makes 280 and 333 horses, respectively. The TDI model still uses the 3.0L turbodiesel V6, with its impressive 407 lbs.-ft. torque rating. All Q7s offer seven seats, quattro all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic.

- Efficient all-wheel drive
- No-nonsense eight-speed automatic gearbox
Cons
