Available in Coupe, Cabriolet and Gran Coupe body styles, the BMW 4 Series starts at $53,150 for 2022. The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder. Unlike the 3 Series, this model doesn’t offer a plug-in hybrid variant. Meanwhile, performance-obsessed drivers will get a blast with the M4 Competition thanks to the 503 horsepower delivered by the turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. The second generation of the 4 Series debuted a year ago.
