The compact X3 is a veteran in the brand's line-up of utility vehicles. Now in its second generation, it offers more passenger and cargo space than its sportier brother, the X4, and comes standard with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drivetrain. The X3 is available with gasoline four- and six-cylinder engines and a diesel four-cylinder engine – all turbocharged – with power ranging from 181 to 300 horsepower. The BMW X3 returns largely unchanged for the 2016 model year.
