For 2012, the second smallest in the Buick family has been equipped with eAssist technology. This system consists of a small electric motor/generator that lends a hand to the gas engine whenever the need presents itself. Essentially, it gives a boost of power to the 2.4L 4-cylinder while helping it save on fuel. A 2.0L turbo delivers 220 hp on the CXL and 255 hp on the GS.
