For 2013, Ford decided to restrain exterior changes, preferring instead to up the technological ante of the Taurus. The four-cylinder 2.0l EcoBoost is now available, while the sporty SHO receives the more powerful 365 hp EcoBoost V6. SE models, still powered by the naturally aspirated 3.5l V6, start at $28,949. The six-speed automatic is the only transmission available and all-wheel drive is optional on SEL and standard on Limited and SHO models.
