Mazda's midsize crossover has been updated for 2019 with the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration as standard, a retuned suspension that offers a smoother ride as well as a quieter cabin. Predictive all-wheel drive (optional with the base GS model and standard on every other CX-9) comes with the full suite of i-ACTIVSENSE safety technologies. Under the hood, the 2.5-litre turbocharged engine delivers 227 or 250 horsepower depending on the type of gasoline being used.
