A classic grand touring automobile, the Mercedes-Benz SL is currently in its seventh generation, which debuted last year with standard all-wheel drive and a soft top instead of the retractable hard top. No longer a 2+2 convertible, it can now accommodate four adults. Under the long hood is a turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine producing 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft. of torque. A plug-in hybrid model is set to join the lineup in the near future.
