Most people laughed when the tiny and under-powered Mirage made its debut in Canada back in 2014, but with other subcompact cars dropping like flies, it’s now one of just two contenders left (along with the Nissan Versa). Parking is a breeze and fuel bills are ridiculously cheap, but the 1.2-litre triple-cylinder engine continues to struggle with a mere 78 horsepower. The unpleasant CVT doesn’t help, either. Good news: standard content has been updated for 2024.
Pros

- Consumes very little fuel
