Gas prices hit record highs in 2022, and while they’re down this year, many drivers are looking for cars and SUVs with great fuel economy in order to save money at the pump.
Excluding luxury brands and electric vehicles, here are the top 10 most fuel-efficient cars on sale in Canada in 2023 based on Natural Resources Canada ratings.

Note: With ratings better than 7.5 L/100 km, the Nissan Sentra, Kia Forte, Honda Civic and MINI Cooper just missed the cut. We excluded the Kia Rio since it’s not coming back for 202.
