Over the course of 2017, the Sentra lineup was bolstered by the SR Turbo and the NISMO, sportier versions offered at competitive prices. They share a 188-horsepower, 1.6L four-cylinder engine. Their transmissions—six-speed manual and continuously variable automatic—have been updated. The NISMO also gets sharper steering and suspension settings, plus 18-inch wheels. The 1.8L four cylinder with 124 or 130 horsepower is back in the more affordable trim levels.
