Just like the Impreza from which it’s derived, the XV Crosstrek has a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 148 horsepower and 145 lbs.-ft. of torque. The available transmissions include a five-speed manual or a CVT. The XV Crosstrek comes only as a hatchback and can be ordered with a hybrid drivetrain whose 2.0L mill is aided by a small electric motor. In this case, power is sent to all four wheels via the CVT.
