For 2025, Toyota is renaming the RAV4 Hybrid and RAV4 Prime as RAV4 HEV and RAV4 PHEV, respectively. These compact SUVs are renowned for their fuel economy, achieving 6-6.4 L/100 km. The PHEV model is eligible to EV incentives and offers a zero-emission range of 68 km. The RAV4 is particularly attractive with its combination of reliability, versatility and excellent resale value. On the other hand, thieves love it, too, making it expensive to insure.
