The two versions of the Yaris share only a name. Built in France, the hatchback is a real Toyota equipped with a 106-horsepower, 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that can be paired with your choice of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic gearboxes. The Yaris sedan is in fact a Mazda2 assembled in Mexico. Even though its engine has the same capacity and output, it's nonetheless totally different. Both of the sedan's gearboxes (manual and automatic) are six-speeds.
