The XC40 is available with a 188-horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder engine in its base trim, while the others rely on the 244-horsepower powertrain. While the R-Design adopts a sportier character, the Inscription variant is the most luxurious with wood trim, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery and, optionally, advanced safety driving aids, a heated steering wheel and a power-operated tailgate. A fully electric XC40 is also on its way.
