In an interview with Reuters, the American luxury brand has announced its intention to sell eight new models by 2017, meaning a doubling of Cadillac fleet.

The new 2014 Cadillac CTS will be in showrooms by October and will be followed by the ELR coupe with a hybrid engine in January 2014. As of spring 2014, the Cadillac ATS Coupe and redesigned Escalade SUV, will roll into dealerships.

Except for the Cadillac SRX, all Cadillacs will have a V-Sport version.

Following this, two crossover vehicles are planned: a compact one, based off the Buick Encore and a larger one based off the Buick Enclave. Cadillac will eventually offer a massive flagship model named the LTS. It was also confirmed that the LTS will be a four-door coupe.
