Ford Mondeo Vingale to Debut in Frankfurt

Ford intends to release upscale trim levels for certain models in Europe at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. The sub-brand will be called Vingale.

The Vingale treatment will first be delivered on the Ford Mondeo which is what the Fusion is called outside of North America. The Ford Mondeo Vingale will feature chrome treatment in certain areas of the exterior including the grille, mirrors and door handles. The name Mondeo is completely replaced with the Vingale badge.

Inside the cabin, the passengers are given special leather seats, animal hide door linings & panels and other little knick-knacks that are imprinted with the Vingale name.

Customers get special treatment at dealerships including free carwashes for life.

The Ford S-Max and Ford Edge will be available in Vingale trim in the near future. For now, the Vingale trim will be unique to the European market.
