MINI is Looking for a Partner

Published on December 4, 2013 in News by Gilles Olivier

Last year, the British brand abandoned its project to develop an ultra-compact Mini, mimicking the size of the original Mini. That car would have faced off against the smart fortwo and Toyota / Scion iQ.

Still interested

Nevertheless, everything indicates that MINI would still like to offer a small car, but only if the cost is shared with a partner.

Speaking of partnerships, Toyota would seem to be the preferred company, since it is already associated with BMW on joint projects and BMW, as you know, is the owner of Mini.

The smaller model would surely take cues from the MINI Rocketman concept.
