The Tesla Model S is a European Top-Seller

After seeing its sales exceed those of many popular German cars in North America, the Tesla Model S is now the most popular rear-wheel drive electric car in Europe.

For the month of November Tesla said it sold more than 1,000 Model S sedans on the various European markets.

There are three countries that account for the majority of Tesla buyers:

- 527 registrations in Norway;
- 408 in the Netherlands;
- 61 in Germany.

Even Renault, with its ZOE and Fluence electric cars, does not compete with only 649 units sold. However, if the sales of electric vehicles of the French brand itself are added, it appears that Renault still has the lead with a total of 1,084 electric vehicles sold.
