Ford Mustang 2015: From Dearborn to Geneva

Published on March 3, 2014 in Geneva by Gilles Olivier

After being officially unveiled simultaneously in Dearborn, New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Shanghai and Sydney last December 5th, the sixth version of the popular American sport coupe was then brought to auto shows in Detroit, Montreal, Chicago, Toronto, Brussels.  This week, the Geneva Motor Show will play host to this legendary car.

The new Mustang inherits a completely revised and redesigned silhouette which contrasts sharply with the signature style of the more recent models. The flowing roofline more resembles a Mustang fastback from the 1970s.

The slightly redesigned interior gives way to a modernized dashboard to better accommodate the latest technological advances in infotainment.

The 2015 Mustang comes with the following options under the hood:
- 3.7-litre V6 EcoBoost generating around 300 horsepower
- 5.0-litre V8 with 420 horsepower
- Four-cylinder EcoBoost turbo that delivers more than 305 horsepower
