James Bond’s New Ride

For the 24th opus of 007’s adventure, a rumour had been circulating: supposedly, the British agent would ditch his Aston Martin to get more fuel economy in a Fiat 500.

While it may be possible that we see Mr. Bond racing around Rome in a little Fiat, rest assured that he will also drive an Aston Martin in the next movie: during a recent announcement, the producers unveiled the DB10, which will be Bond’s ride of choice.

The manufacturer of this sleek grey coupe said production will be limited to 10 units, and they will all be used in the movie. As a consequence, it’s impossible to buy one. While details are somewhat limited, we suppose that the engine underneath the hood will be a V12, and the DB10 may be based on the current DB and Vanquish.

The producers also announced some details on the movie: it will be named SPECTRE (SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion, a criminal organisation created by Ian Fleming in his novels), and will star Monica Belluci, Ralph Fiennes, Andrew Scott and Ben Wishaw. Daniel Craig will reprise his role as James Bond.
