MSO Announces A 650S To Honour The F1 GTR
20 years ago, McLaren entered five F1 GTRs in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. We expected the car to finish well, but we did not know how good they actually were: finishing 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 13th, the cars cemented the F1’s racing pedigree.
To commemorate this significant win, McLaren Special Operations launched a 650S equipped with a few accessories that remind us of the car that won the race, the #39 F1 GTR.

50 units will be produced. They will all be painted Sarthe Grey (named after the track where the 24 Hours of Le Mans is held, the Circuit de la Sarthe) and will feature larger side intakes, ceramic brakes with Papaya Orange calipers and a roof-mounted intake that feeds air directly to the engine. An aerodynamic front lower lip and unique wheels reminiscent of those used on the F1 GTR are also part of the deal.
Those who wish to get one of these gorgeous coupes will have to pay around $370,000, but McLaren offers an additional incentive: each car comes with a pair of tickets to a celebration of the 20th anniversary of their 1995 win, which will held in France.
