A Land Rover Above The Autobiography?

Published on March 24, 2015 in New York by Frédérick Boucher-Gaulin

If you have ever had the chance to sit in a Range Rover Autobiography, you know that the vehicle exemplifies the very best of luxury. With an interior fitted with the best leathers sewn together by the most talented artists, this big SUV has been widely regarded as the ultimate member of the Range Rover family. Among the intimate circles of the brand’s aficionados, if you mention that you drive an Autobiography, people will know you mean business.

However, this privilege might soon become irrelevant; at the upcoming New York Auto Show, the English manufacturer will unveil a new Range Rover. According to our source, it’s an ultra-luxury version of the popular truck. If this is true, the Autobiography would be relegated to second place.

The teaser shot shown above gives us a glimpse of this upcoming Land Rover. It is presented side-by-side with the new Jaguar XF, which is their other planned launch for the New York Auto Show. While we don’t see much of the SUV, we can expect the exterior of the Range Rover to carry over unchanged. A two-tone paint job may be in the cards.

We will have to wait for the launch to know more.
