2016 Land Rover Range Rover SVAutobiography: The Pinnacle Of SUV Luxury

Published on March 30, 2015 in New York by Frédérick Boucher-Gaulin

As we previously mentioned, Land Rover was thinking about adding a model above its already very luxurious Range Rover Autobiography. This vehicle was set to be announced at the New York Auto Show. Staying true to its word, the English manufacturer unveiled the Range Rover SVAutobiography (it’s pronounced just like it’s written) yesterday.

Apart from the slightly unusual name, this new super-luxurious SUV will probably be loved by its future owners. To notice that one of these handmade beauties is sharing the road with you, you just need to take a look at the details: the two-tone paint job, the different font for the RANGE ROVER name, and the unique grille are all there to remind you that this SUV is not a plebeian base-model Range Rover.

Inside, owners will be pampered. Using only the highest quality leathers, woods and aluminium, the brand’s stylists created one of the classiest car interiors known to mankind. For the rear passengers, there is a motorized tablet so they can work or eat, and a small cooler to keep the champagne bottle chilly.

Several different engine choices are available, from a hybrid powertrain to a supercharged V6 to an all-new 5-litre V8 generating 550 horsepower (thus making it the most powerful Land Rover ever produced), there will be something for everyone.

The Range Rover SVAutobiography will be available this summer as a 2016 model.
