Aston Martin Brings Its Aura On The Water

Aston Martin is known for its build quality, its British charm and its classic designs. For more than a century, the Aston Martin name has been synonymous with quality on the road.

It seems that the brand is now trying to enlarge its sphere of influence; thanks to a partnership with Dutch boat builder Quintessence and naval architect Mulder Design, the English firm will now build a boat that will remind us of their vehicles.

The boat will be built using the expertise Aston Martin developed in the high-performance car world; it will be lightweight thanks to its carbon fibre construction, and will feature high-quality wood trims. There will be two models: AM37 and AM37S.

For now, a pair of Mercury Racing SCI engines propel the boat at speeds of up to 60 knots with the help of their 1,040 horsepower. If you prefer fuel economy, a pair of diesel V8s will also be available.

For now, the Aston Martin boat is just a prototype, but if demand is strong enough, the manufacturer will probably build a few of them. So if you want the perfect complement to your Vanquish, this might be an excellent option.
