2015 Shelby Super Snake: 750 Venomous Snakes
Carroll Shelby, renowned Ford tuner, sadly passed away a few years ago. He didn’t get to see the 2015 Shelby Super Snake. That’s sad, since this is pretty much the best of its lineage (on paper at least, as Shelby has yet to invite us for a test-drive).
Based on the GT with its 5-litre V8, the Super Snake adds a Ford Racing supercharger and a wide array of upgrades to generate 750 horsepower. As a quick comparison, that’s 145 more than the last Super Snake, 250 more than the most powerful car in Ford’s lineup (the Shelby GT350) and 315 more than the base GT!
Shelby then adds a carbon-fibre body kit, a unique grille, racing stripes (it’s a Shelby, after all!) and a short-throw shift kit.
If you are in the market for a super-Mustang, you should know that to get one you have to spend $49,995… on top of the price of the Mustang GT you already have. And for the first time in the history of the Super Snake, you can choose to equip your car with an automatic gearbox.
