Jaguar's F-Pace Will Support The Tour De France

For the last few years, Jaguar has been the official sponsor of Team Sky, which competes in the Tour de France. They supplied various cars to help the team, including an XF Sportbrake and a specially-modified F-Type.

For the 2015 edition a very special vehicle will be used for Chris Froome’s support team. His medic, the team director, a mechanic and a senior team member will follow the cyclist in an F-Pace prototype.

In addition to the support team, the SUV will contain a slew of additional parts and energy supplements.

The F-Pace will be fitted with a bike rack and covered in a Team Sky livery. The 13.7 km route of the Tour’s first leg will enable Jaguar’s engineers to collect some valuable data on their prototype as well as bring some attention to this upcoming vehicle.
