Nissan's GT-R NISMO N-Attack At SEMA

When the Nissan GT-R NISMO was launched, one of its most impressive achievements was its speed on track. It lapped the Nurburgring in 7:08.679, which was fast enough to embarrass Italian exotics and German supercars.

There was a problem, however: the car that set the record was fitted with unique upgrades, which helped it stay on track during its high-speed cornering.

This kit - dubbed N-Attack - will be available for those looking for the most hardcore GT-R NISMO out there. It will also be shown at this year's SEMA Show.

The N-Attack kit includes adjustable Öhlins shocks, a limited-slip front differential, upgrades to the intercooler piping, and a carbon-plate limited-slip rear differential. The car has also been lightened and sports a unique body kit that includes a huge fixed rear wing on the trunk to provide lots of downforce at high speed. The traction control system and engine management have been optimized for track duty, and the car comes with Recaro front seats as well as a carbon fibre panel that replaces the rear seats.

Pricing for this version has yet to be announced, but it will probably be a few thousand dollars more than the $150,000 USD asking price of the regular GT-R NISMO.
