Published on January 14, 2018 in Montreal by Alain Morin

The pioneer of contemporary all-electric cars, the Nissan LEAF, is beginning its second life this year. Even though it uses the previous generation’s wheelbase, it is nonetheless a smidge longer, wider and taller. The most significant changes, however, are under the body. The electric motor is more powerful than before with 147 horsepower and 236 lb.-ft. of torque. The 40-kWh battery brings the range to roughly 240 km. The LEAF is also introducing the e-Pedal, which lets you slow down and even stop the car simply by releasing the accelerator. The ProPILOT semi-autonomous driving system comes factory standard.
