2021 SVE Yenko/SC Silverado Unleashed With 800 Horsepower
A few weeks after the 750-horsepower GMC Syclone, Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) is introducing an even stronger pickup. Meet the 2021 Yenko/SC Silverado.
The project started about a year ago and the result is scary good: 800 horsepower and 720 pound-feet of torque.

Using the expertise gained with the Yenko Camaros, SVE modified GM’s 6.2-litre V8 engine, which normally puts out 420 horsepower in the Silverado. There’s a forged steel crankshaft and forged aluminum pistons, but the real kicker is SVE’s own high-output supercharger.
The transmission has been upgraded and features a custom torque converter, while stainless steel headers with high-flow cats are included for maximum auditory effect.
Styling is enhanced with huge 22-inch SVE wheels that barely hide the Brembo brake callipers available with custom colour options. You’ll find “800HP” badges on the hood insert and tailgate, unique side stripes and a revised front bumper contributing to a low-profile look.
In case you didn’t realize, this truck is not about doing crazy off-road shenanigans like the Ford F-150 Raptor. It’s more about being the quickest out on the street, although the exact acceleration time remains unspecified.
Available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations with a Crew Cab or Double Cab, the 2021 SVE Yenko/SC Silverado will be limited to 50 units. Each of them can be ordered and serviced at any Chevrolet dealer in the U.S. Pricing has not been announced.
