Jaguar Reportedly Set to Launch Three Electric SUVs in 2025

Jaguar aims to completely reinvent itself in order to survive in today’s automotive market. In February of last year, the brand announced its intention of going all-electric in 2025 and raising the bar for luxury to Bentley-like levels.

Now, British website Autocar has learned that three “jaw-dropping” electric sports crossovers will be ready to go by mid-decade. These vehicles will be a lot more sophisticated and exclusive than the current I-PACE.

Jaguar will use a new platform called Panthera and developed in a partnership with Magna. First, Autocar says a smaller model similar to a Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo will arrive in three- and five-door configurations, as well as single- and dual-motor variants.

The duo will be joined by a longer-wheelbase model designed specifically to meet the needs of Chinese and American customers. It will likely come standard with dual motors and all-wheel drive.

All three crossovers are expected to receive the high-performance SVR treatment at some point, similar to the F-PACE SVR. Also, look for cutting-edge connectivity and driver assistance technologies, as well as plenty of sustainable and recycled materials.

According to Autocar, a near-production concept will debut at a globally significant auto show in slightly more than two years’ time, towards the end of 2024. It’s possible that the Solihull plant will be expanded and modernized, though a brand new facility would make more sense given the higher-end nature of these future Jaguars.
