Porsche 911 S/T is a $350,000 Celebration of the 911’s 60 Years
Porsche is celebrating the 60th anniversary of its iconic 911 with a high-price special edition that’s all about pure driving excitement. The new 911 S/T is the lightest of all 992-generation models and, fittingly, it will be limited to 1,963 units.
The name was first used in 1969 for a competition variant of the first-generation 911 S that was called 911 ST.

This exclusive sports car, which combines the best attributes of the GT3 Touring and GT3 RS with a focus on the road instead of the track, pairs a 518-horsepower, 4.0-litre flat-six engine with a close-ratio, six-speed manual gearbox. All that in a package that weighs only 1,380 kg.
As a result, the 911 S/T sprints from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top track speed of 300 km/h. Drivers will revel in the adrenaline rush as much as the unique sound of the standard lightweight sport exhaust system.
Weight is Always the Enemy
In order to save a total of 40 kg from the 911 GT3 Touring with manual transmission, the 911 S/T’s hood, roof, front fenders and doors are all made of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic. Porsche also blessed the anniversary model with magnesium wheels (20 inches front, 21 inches rear), carbon ceramic brakes and lightweight glass.
Furthermore, a specially developed lightweight clutch combines with a single-mass flywheel to reduce rotational mass by 10.5 kg, significantly improving engine response in the process.
Inside the 911 S/T, the standard seats are also made of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic. They can be replaced by four-way adjustable sport buckets at no extra cost. A pretty cool touch is the vintage green colour applied to the instrument cluster and Sport Chrono needle.

One last thing: Porsche is offering an optional Heritage Design package with exclusive Shoreblue Metallic body paint and Ceramica wheels. Customers can choose to add special graphics and a race number (0 to 99) on the sides. The classic Porsche badge from the original 911 can be found on the front of the car, steering wheel, headrests and keyfob. The interior stands out with Classic Cognac fabric seats featuring black pinstripes (pictured above) as another homage to the past.
