A Very Special MINI For Vision Gran Turismo

To celebrate 15 years of Gran Turismo, the Vision GT programme was created last year. It called upon car manufacturers to create concepts that would represent the future of their brands. Various automakers answered the call, and MINI is the latest in line.

For this concept, MINI chose to stay true to their roots by creating a small hatchback that is light and handles like a go-kart.

Where other manufacturers chose to launch big vehicles with over 800 horsepower, MINI went for a more simplistic approach: 395 horsepower will be enough for their race car. With the help of an all-wheel drive system and a six-speed sequential transmission the MINI Clubman Gran Turismo can get from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and will eventually hit 290 km/h.

The car's style is clearly similar to the road-going MINI's, but it’s much more aggressive: from the widened wheel arches to the new bumpers, auxiliary lights incorporated into the front grille, a large number of air ducts and headlights covered by Xs, it’s easy to see that this MINI means business.

If you own a copy of Gran Turismo and want to test drive the MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo, it is available in-game right now.
