All-Electric Fisker Ocean Starts at $43,999 in Canada
Introduced in production form last fall, the all-new Fisker Ocean electric crossover can now be pre-ordered by reservations holders in Canada. We also know how much it costs.
There are four trim levels to choose from including Sport, Ultra, Extreme and One (launch edition). The Ocean Sport starts at $43,999, making it eligible to a $5,000 EV rebate from the federal government in addition to provincial incentives where applicable.

This is a single-motor FWD model riding on standard 20-inch or available 22-inch wheels. It generates 275 horsepower and sprints from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 6.9 seconds while offering an EPA-estimated range of 250 miles (402 kilometres) based on Fisker's simulations. The exact Natural Resources Canada figure has yet to be announced.
The vegan interior uses recycled materials made from fishing nets, t-shirts and renewed rubber. The Tesla-like 17.1-inch centre screen rotates from a portrait Control Mode configuration when driving to a landscape Hollywood Mode for watching movies at the push of a button. You’ll also find a premium stereo, fixed panoramic roof called BigSky, digital rear-view mirror and a mobile app that turns a smartphone into a key.
Fisker Intelligent Pilot technology combines automatic emergency braking, forward and side collision alert, road sign and traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, driver attention alert and lane keeping assist.
Next is the Ocean Ultra ($63,999), which boasts a dual-motor AWD configuration increasing output and range to 540 horsepower and 547 kilometres, respectively. It’s much quicker, too, with the same sprints achieved in just 3.9 seconds.
Additional driver assistance features are included such as reverse braking assist, while a California mode automatically lowers all the windows and retracts the sliding roof at the push of a button for an open-air driving experience.
Extreme and One models ($89,999) boost output to 550 horsepower and need just 3.6 seconds to reach highway speeds. They can travel an estimated 563 kilometres with a full battery. More goodies are part of the mix, such as 360-degree panoramic view, adaptive cruise control, parking assist, Fisker HyperSound audio, limo mode and on-screen games.
On top of that, there’s a SolarSky roof that charges the battery on the go and can provide up to 3,200 kilometres of additional range annually, according to Fisker.
Production of the Fisker Ocean is scheduled to begin on November 17, 2022 at partner company Magna-Steyr’s assembly plant in Graz, Austria. The first units for Canada will be delivered in June 2023, joining a growing list of electric SUVs headlined by the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Hyundai IONIQ 5 and Volkswagen ID.4.
By the way, Fisker will have a concierge service to personally deliver vehicles directly to customers. While there will be Brand Experience Centers, Fisker will not have franchised dealers. What about maintenance and repairs? That remains to be clarified.
