2024 Kia EV9 to Start at $59,995 in Canada

The all-new 2024 Kia EV9 will start arriving in Canadian dealerships next month, and today the company finally announced pricing details and final specifications for this three-row electric SUV.

More spacious than the Telluride and more expensive than the EV6, the EV9 is available in three trim levels. The RWD-only Light and Wind models retail from $59,995 and $62,995, respectively (freight and PDI not included). The AWD-equipped Land starts at $64,995.

All three qualify for the $5,000 EV rebate from the Canadian government as well as provincial rebates where applicable. In Quebec, for instance, it’s $7,000.

Customers who select an EV9 Land can add one of two available packages—Premium at $74,995 or GT-Line at $78,995. The latter, in particular, stands out with 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels, bridge-type roof rails, dark-coloured belt line accent, gloss black side mirrors and a unique front/rear bumper design.

“Being the first mass market brand to introduce a 3-row all-electric SUV, we wanted it to be innovative and remarkable, but also accessible,” said Elias El-Achhab, VP and COO of Kia Canada. “This competitive price and array of options will give Canadians the opportunity to choose what best suits their lifestyle.”

By the way, when using high-speed DC chargers, the EV9 is designed to go from a 10-80 percent state of charge in under 25 minutes. (max charging rate of 230 kW).
