Although trucks like this are primarily marketed in the Persian Gulf, an American has ponied up the more than half million dollars to buy the extravagant vehicle.

Based on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, the AMG engineers saw fit to extend the truck in order to accommodate a six-wheel drive system.

With a total length of 5.87 metres and a ground clearance of 230 mm it can overcome the worst obstacles in the most hostile terrain possible. It weighs 3.85 tons.

Six-Wheel Drive!

It rolls with an abundance of confidence thanks to six-wheel drive, five locking differentials and 37" tires with variable pressure.

Its engine is a powerful 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 that develops 544 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque mated to a 7G-Tronic transmission.

Despite its size, it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 7 seconds with a top speed of 160 km/h.

The vehicle is assembled in Austria at the Magna Steyr plant.
