First Mercedes-Benz EQS Electric Sedans Now Hitting Showrooms
The all-new 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS is currently making its way into Mercedes-Benz showrooms across the country. As of January 20, every dealer started receiving their first batch of electric sedans.
Remember, this is the first zero-emission Mercedes-Benz model to be sold in Canada.

Starting at $144,200, the EQS is a luxury car through and through, but you might be surprised to know that it requires a premium of just $1,300 over a similarly equipped, gas-only 2022 S-Class.
For now, the only trim level we get in Canada is the EQS 580 4MATIC. Equipped with a 107.8kWh battery, it provides a range of 547 kilometres. Meanwhile, the 516 horsepower deliver electrifying acceleration despite the car’s heavy weight.
As for charging, the EQS can plug into DC fast chargers up to 200 kW and regain about 300 km in just 15 minutes. Oh, and thanks to the newly announced Mercedes me Charge platform, customers have access to over 4,900 public chargers across Canada.
