Many of you have enjoyed our recent list of the top 10 most powerful cars under $40,000. After all, who doesn’t like to get a lot of bang for their buck?
We therefore decided to do the same with SUVs because, you know, they are way more popular than cars at the moment. Since these vehicles are bigger and often better equipped, we raised the price limit to $50,000, which is still within the reach of most families.
Note: We used the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices (MSRP) and included only one trim level or configuration per model. The vehicles you’ll see were all on sale at the time of writing, so that’s why you won’t find the upcoming 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime and its 302 ponies.
